We love it. We love wearing weird stuff. That’s a fact. Being different from the rest is more and more difficult, that’s a fact too. The thing is… do we want to be different? If it’s so, keep on reading ’cause this might be interesting for you. If not, click on this ZARA link; it’s not THAT bad, mind you. ( http://www.zara.com )
Today it’s all about sculptural bags and Larissa Hadjio’s amazing style. Her last collections Sugar White and Deep Sea have left us in ecstasy. Hadjio is a London based German that studied in Saint Martin’s School and that, before creating her own fashion brand, experimented with different materials. Amongst other things, she used to make sculptures with food, such as carrot-rockets. Just for that, we already love her. Now Larissa Hadjio stands agains fast fashion and high street brands with her collections made out of attention to detail and care. With a background that must be quite bizarre, Hadjio designs and overlook all the process, till bags shaped as fishes, diamonds, pompons or run over Disney characters are in the shops. Just marvellous.
