It’s been a long time since we first said we like the Gracia area of town more and more (and not only because our office is near and we know all the cheap restaurants there). We’re getting old and tired of the city and so much traffic. We’ll probably move there some day. And after this “thanks for the info” moment, let’s go for the important thing: it’s not like I’m a pro skater, but I know lots of you are. The new shop STATE, Torrent de L’Olla 108 (yep, Gracia), that opens its door with brands like Venture Collection, HUF, Thequietlife, Diamond or Independent and also with a great own clothes line, will be a point of interest to those of you who do actually skate. The shop also displays an Art space where artists such as Hanako Mimiko, Chamo San, Bandid8, Pau Bonet or Javier de Riba, curated by Reskate Boards & Illustrators, have been showcased. Now the plan’s completed: after doing some shopping and admiring some good Art, you could pop by their Social Terraceo Club and drink some beer while you try on your new outfits. You get it, Gracia is marvelous.
