Great expectation has been aroused because of the release of Daft Punk’s new “Random Access Memories” album. After a couple of months spreading viral videos, fake bits and so on, it seems that finally we know the offical date and place for the launch (yep, the place part is the important one). Believe it or not, the new title will be released on May 17th in Wee Waa, a tiny town in Australia, on the 79th edition of the local farming fair. According to the band, this town has the essence and values of the new release. Even though the first impression leads us to think that Daft Punk has taken this decision to be controversial, we hope that the farmers will enjoy the new tracks while bartering with cattle or trying to find a new engine for their John Deere. For the most incredulous, have a look at the farming fair website.
