They say that being classy is knowing how to adapt yourself to each and every situation regarding the moment and the place. I mean, not talking about your nights of excess, champagne and oysters in a work meeting or telling jokes about ovens in Auschwitz. Stuff like that.
Vincent Van Gurp, more known as Vanvincent, is a Dutch artist that has what we call “class”; either using a chicken or a pair of heels, human models or pig heads, perfect rose petals or cringing fake teeth, everything comes out in place, nice and appropriate. He’s explored fields like advertising (Save The Children or Hugo Boss, amongst others), studio photography and personal work, highlighting his cover for FRAME magazine. With his plasticity as a weapon, Vanvincent shows that you can do a lot with little.
